DESCRIPTION:Join the Cascadia Poetics Lab for a night of poetry and community at Basecamp Café in Capitol Hill\, October 18 from 6:30-8:30 PM! The first event of Cascadia Poetics Lab’s Youth Committee\, the reading will feature poets Zach Charles\, Hannah Villanueva\, Emma McVeigh\, Ezra Williamson and Enrico Muhs. The Cascadia Poetics Lab aims to empower people to heighten connection and perception to the current moment through poetry. CPL’s Youth Committee works to translate the content of the organization for a younger audience and involve up and coming poets from the Cascadia bioregion in the organization’s offerings and Seattle’s poetry community. Join us for the first event of Cascadia Poetics Lab’s Youth Committee and celebrate the art of the Cascadia bioregion! Tickets are $5 for Gearhouse members\, $8 for CPL associates\, and $10 for the public.
