PPF Workshop for Donors!

Postcard season is coming up soon! As a thank you to our dedicated postcard poets and generous donors, we are hosting an online workshop for supporters of the Poetry Postcard Fest that donate $10 or more with their PPF registration. In this online workshop, PPF founder Paul Nelson will provide insight and guidance on spontaneous composition and lead postcard poets in writing exercises to prepare for the fest. The workshop will be held on June 11 at 5:30 PM PDT in Paul’s Zoom Room. Donations to PPF help us provide scholarships to participants in need of extra help!

Haven’t registered for PPF 2025? Register and contribute an additional $10 or more to your registration by clicking HERE to be a part of this workshop! Earlybird registration ends June 4, so take advantage of the discounted price when you can!

Already registered and want to donate an additional amount? You can click HERE to donate to Cascadia Poetics Lab to receive an invitation to the workshop. Choose “Poetry Postcard Fest scholarships” in the donation field.

Already registered AND donated? Amazing! Thank you for being supporting the Poetry Postcard Fest and our community. We’ll send you an email with the Zoom information before June 11.

Interview with Postcard Poet Laura Gamache

Part of the Cascadia 2050 mission is: to inspire artists and poets of the next generation to consider bioregionalism and intuitive poetic approach as a way to foster a more just and sustainable Cascadia by 2050. To this end, one of our goals is to interview people who help us spread awareness by having practices in their lives that reflect these values. This interview with Postcard Poet Laura Gamache, a Seattle who has published poetry in the usual places, such as chapbooks, journals and anthologies, and also unusual places, such as buses, is the first of the series.
