Really poignant Leggy. Mom’s are a real part of our hearts. I love that part that said you could find your way home by the sound of her laughter.

Thanks Terry and Ina. I am so privileged to have an amazing writer artist mother who has been a driving force in my creative inspiration! Just today she traveled to Taos New Mexico for a writing retreat with Natalie Goldberg, I grew up with my mom sharing Natelie’s book writing down the bones with me. Last year I saw Natalie was teaching an online class and shared it with my mom, she took the class amidst caring for my dad who is in the late stages of a neurological degenerative disease, and it led to to where she is now. My mom wrote in her journal every morning all throughout my childhood, she has been a beacon for prioritizing the creative process. I’m so proud to be her daughter!
