Winter in America at AWP

On March 27, 2025 join us in Los Angeles for an off-site AWP conference event for Winter in America (Again! Join poets Rodrigo Toscano, Elizabeth Robinson, Susanne Dyckman, Mark Scroggins, Dana Teen Lomax, Dion O’Reilly, Holly Hughes, Matt Trease and more for our gala launch of an anthology of 100+ poets assembled between the election and inauguration day– Winter in America (Again: Poets Respond to 2024 Election (Carbonation Press, 2025). We will gather in creative non-violent resistance and compassionate community in the beautiful Music Hall with hosts and co-editors Katie Sarah Zale, Paul E. Nelson, Roxi Power, and Robert Lashley.

WHERE: 5151 State University Dr, Los Angeles, CA L.A.Music Hall, Theater Building. (Uber Drop off at Circle Drive). Across from the Luckman Theater there’s a parking structure with pay stations. 1A is the Music Hall on the map (see below), so people can park in the structure across Circle Dr. (and pay at the pay station) or be dropped off on Circle Drive between 29 and 29B (map below).

WHEN: 7-8:30 PM PDT. Doors at 6:30. Reception to follow with book sales and signing.
