CPF9 Saturday Afternoon Reading

On October 11, 2025, we continued he 9th Cascadia Poetry Festival with an afternoon reading. Matt Trease facilitated the reading and provided beautiful introductions for featured poets Lorin Medley, Jim Dott, Katie Sarah Zale and Brenda Cárdenas. The reading opened with an introduction from Tetsuzen Jason Wirth on Watershed Press, the backstory of the press and the necessity for small presses in this current time. Lorin Medley’s chapbook On the Way to Kluusms and Jim Dott’s collection Touch Wood were both published by Watershed Press. You can learn more and browse their full catalogue HERE!
