Andrew Schelling will read from his recent Old Time Love Song Magic (Circumference Books, 2025), his translation with commentary of the 30 or so known poems by the 8th Century Indian poetess Vidyā. The translators will also discuss with each other and the audience the art and challenges of translating classical Asian poetry.
