We’re delighted to report we have been included in the Community Investment Fund by La Sala! Their announcement said:

Hello, La Sala Friends!

Today, we’re thrilled to announce the 17 projects selected to receive support through La Sala’s Community Investment Fund! 🎉 We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who submitted an application and shared their projects with us. We are inspired by the talent, creativity, and dedication of the Latine/x artistic community across Washington. Thank you for continuing to support and celebrate the talent within our community.

Under the heading of Literature and Poetry, we are in good company:

La Sala is a Latine/x artist‑centered service organization with a mission to support and uplift Latine/x artists, those who identify with or descend from the cultures of Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean, by expanding their access to professional education, creative spaces, institutional partnerships, broader audiences, and paid artistic opportunities. We exist to meet the cultural and professional needs of the growing Latine/x community in the Greater Seattle area and to ensure that Latine/x artists can thrive, connect, and contribute to the region’s artistic landscape. The support for the past Cascadia Poetry Festival by La Sala resulted in participation by Gabriella Gutiérrez y Muhs, Alex Gallo-Brown, Mateo Quispe, and other Latinx poets and we are grateful to La Sala.
