Postcards at Kubota Garden

April 2, 2026
by Ryukan

The Cascadia 2050 crew will continue the series of springtime Poetry Postcard Activations Saturday, April 18,  from 11a – 1p at Kubota Garden, a jewel in the Rainier Beach neighborhood. We’ll get  tour of the garden from a docent, have postcard collage materials and supplies available so you can get a start making cards for the 20th Poetry Postcard Fest and write some postcard poems. We’ll also get a start on creating a Personal Universe Deck for the garden, which could be a resource for your own poetry practice for years to come.

The event is free and supported by 4Culture Public Free Access. Kubota Garden is at: 9817 55th Ave S, Seattle, WA 98118
