Seattle, WA – Wednesday, April 28, 2010, 7:30 p.m.
Columbia City Cinema hosts Seattle-based writer and performer Mary Lou Sanelli for an evening of storytelling and laughter. The Immigrant’s Table is Mary Lou Sanelli’s response to growing up first-generation American in an East Coast Italian household. She tells her story of the immigrant experience through poetry and family recipes, and in the process reclaims a heritage she once tried to escape. She brings her performance to Columbia City Cinema as a benefit event to help the community theater in a time of need.
Tickets: Suggested donation is $10, and directly supports Columbia City Cinema. Reservations and donations can be made through Brown Paper Tickets online, or by RSVPing to Paul Doyle at columbiacity@comcast.net
The cinema hosts the weekly SPLAB Living Room, so it would be great if SPLAB fans could attend and help the cause of this important Columbia City institution.
