Watch the Cascadia Poetry Festival 7 Eco-Poetics Panel!

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, we held the Eco-Poetics talk concurrently with Tess Gallagher’s “Simulating the Satori Moment in Poems” workshop. The Eco-Poetics panel featured Jan Zwicky, Andrew Schelling and Brenda Hillman and was hosted by Simon Wolf with David Griggs as the moderator. The speakers discussed the poet’s role in our current environmental crisis, bioregionalism, and the lines drawn between language and nature. The talk was followed by a Q & A. Thank you to Greg Bem for the videos and images of this panel! Watch the video below!
