  • While there are very few ‘rules’ for the PPF, the usual approach is to send your first postcard to the person whose name follows yours on the list, then continue down the list, one per day, and back to the top until you’re back to your own name and you’ve sent a card to everyone.
  • Now that you have the list, you can start sending cards any time. Please try to send all your postcards by the end of August.
  • If you’re a Facebook user, do join/visit the private PPF group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/17361938720
  • PLEASE be sure to sign your postcards.
  • Also, it’s a good idea to leave about a half-inch blank at the bottom of the message area. The Post Office machine-imprints that space and it’s frustrating when the imprint obscures the end of your poem.
  • If you know someone who would like to participate in this year’s Fest but hasn’t registered, registration will stay open until July 15, 2024. All the info, including the registration link, is on the PPF page: https://cascadiapoeticslab.org/poetrypostcards/
  • ASK ME! If you have questions, concerns, etc., just ask. You’ll also find lots of expert info (and inspiration) in the Facebook group.
  • Be spontaneous, have fun, and happy postcarding!
All very best,
Judy
