Prose poetry has a long-established tradition in France, with Aloysius Bertrand, Baudelaire and Rimbaud. In this workshop, we’ll explore five distinct approaches to writing prose poetry, & will include examples by Gabriel Gudding, Anselm Berrigan, Nin Andrews, & others before writing and sharing prose poems of our own.
SPLAB is in the former Columbia School. ENTER through double doors on Edmunds between Rainier AV S and 36th S. Look for the SPLAB sign. Suggested donation $20, students $10, no one’s turned away for lack of funds. Workshop limit 15. Pre-register by emailing pen@splab.org
